By creating an account you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older.

Practice naira (launch season)

• During launch season, all balances are practice naira. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or withdrawn to a bank, and are not a deposit or investment.
• Wakapace may adjust, reset or expire practice balances, for example to correct errors or before real-money features launch.
• Real-money cohorts, if introduced, will have separate terms that you must accept before taking part.

How challenges work

• Joining a cohort locks your chosen commitment until the cohort settles.
• Finish every day's goal (00:00–23:59 WAT) and your commitment is returned, plus a share of commitments forfeited by others after a 10% fee. Bonuses are never guaranteed.
• Miss any day and your commitment is forfeited to the finishers.
• If nobody in a cohort finishes, every commitment is refunded.

Fair play

• Steps from the web app come from your phone's motion sensor and are unverified. Don't shake, strap or otherwise fake steps.
• We may void step data that looks implausible, reverse the outcome of affected challenges, and suspend accounts that break these rules.
